Flow Cytometry Antibodies
Flow cytometry is a technique used to detect and quantify certain types or properties of cells. Antibodies with fluorescent tags are often used to bind to the analyte or cell of interest for detection. When the fluorescent tags (or fluorophores) are excited, the wavelength and intensity are measured. Because multiple antibodies with different fluorophores can be used to bind to different targets on the cell, multiple parameters can be successfully measured in the same experiment.
