Immunohistochemistry of paraffinembedded Human liver tissue with CD34 Monoclonal Antibody(Antigen repaired by EDTA). Location: Cell membrane,Cytoplasm.
CD34 is a single strand membrane penetrating protein with a molecular weight of 105~120 kDa, which is expressed in early LYMPHOPOIETIC stem cells, Progenitor cells, vascular endothelial cells, embryonic fibroblasts and some nerve tissue cells. It is mainly used for the differentiation of benign and malignant angiogenic tumors. CD34 and CD117 are used in the identity gastrointestinal stromal tumors. CD34 is positive in 80%~ 102% of dermatofibrosarcoma protuberans, which could be differentiated from dermatofibroma.
